15% Friends and Family Discount at Walgreens

Between August 2nd (today) and August 4th, you can use the 15% off coupon found on the Walgreens Facebook page (just "Like" them).  This can be combined with all your other great deals using in-store coupons, manufacturer coupons, etc.

You do need to checkout at the photo or cosmetics counter when using this coupon.

School Supply Deals at Wags

This is the time for great deals on school supplies--and there are lots of deals out there.

This week at Walgreens there are some fantastic deals on a few items that may be on your list.

Walgreens Ice Cream Deal

While your at Coupons.com, you'll also find a $1/2 Starbucks Ice Cream pints.

This week at Walgreens, Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's are on sale Buy One at $4.79, Get One Free.  So, two for $3.79--great price for this ice cream.

There was also a coupon for $1/2 Ben & Jerry's in Sunday's paper.

Walgreens: $1 Printer Ink Refills on Earth Day

Walgreens is offering printer ink cartridge refills for only $1 on Earth Day-- Thurs. April 22.
Just use the coupon found in this week's ad!

I have had hit or miss success with their ink refills.  They will do a print test after they fill it.  If it doesn't pass, you don't have to pay for the refill.  A couple of times the cartridge quit working soon after the refill.  However, for $1, I will probably try it.

Walgreens Deals: Emergen-C, Tropicana, Kashi

Walgreens has some deals of note this week.

There is a $5 off Emergen-C coupon in this week's ad.  If you received the $2 off coupon from Emergen-C by email a couple weeks ago, you can stack these together.  My store has it priced at $11.99 ($13.99 for the Immune Defense).  That is $7 per box with just the store coupon (good deal.) and $5 per box if you have both q's! (great deal!)

Tropicana is on sale 2/$6, plus buy 2 and get a $1RR.  Did you get the BOGO coupon from their facebook offer last week?  This is what I did:   Bought a Tropicana OJ and a Trop50.  Used a $1/1 Trop50 AND a BOGO any Tropicana.  After RR, they were $.50 each.  I then bought two more Tropicana OJ and used another BOGO (there were two prints)--in a separate transaction to get another RR--these were $1 each after RR.  Plus, after buying these cartons, you can enter the Tropicana Rewards codes

If you did not get the BOGO last time, Hip2Save just posted a deal on getting a BOGO coupon for Trop50.  This deal is good today only.  It is the deal of the day, so maybe there will be similar deals in the future.  The coupon expires on April 21st. (so if you're like me, with 4 cartons of OJ, you may want to hold off on this one)  =)


Kashi cereal is on sale for 2/$5 this week.  (Don't have to buy 2)  There has been a $1/1 Organic Promise (that's the shredded wheat variety) coupon available on All You Online.  Or, if you are a VocalPoint member, you may have received the $1.50/1 coupons for Heart to Heart.  Makes it $1-$1.50 per box.

Walgreens Clearance

I found the big bottles of the Lil Gummy Vites on clearance for $5.99 at my Walgreens.  If you have the Walgreens Coloring and Activity Book, it has a coupon for $2 off, making them only $3.99 each.  The full price is usually $9.99!

I am wiping a tear away as I write this.  I lost my WAGS coloring book coupons when I moved.  sniff.

Planters $1.50/1 Coupon for Fans

Become a Fan of Planters on Facebook HERE.  You'll then be able to print a coupon for $1.50 off any Planters product.  You can print it twice by hitting the back button.

Ideas to use it:
Planters Trail Mix is $1.99 this week at Walgreens.  Buy two and use two $1.50/1 q's plus the $1/2 Wags coupon in the March coupon book. Equals two for Free.
OR
Next week the trail mix should be $1.50 each.  So repeat above scenario and it will be a $1 MONEYMAKER!  (give man. q first, then wags q).   If you want to save your $1.50 coupons--or want more trail mix, then use the $1/2 coupon from SS plus the wags q = $.50/bag.  My husband loves this stuff for a snack.

Personally, I love the Planters Natural Harvest nuts. I usually get them at Target for $4.99 per bag.   I will probably save my coupons for these.

Almost Free Toothpaste at Walgreens

For the month of February, you can get Crest Cavity Protection toothpaste for $.04 each at Walgreens.

Buy 1 Crest Cavity Protection toothpaste ($2.29)
Use $.75/1 from 2/7 PG insert
Plus, use $1.50/1 from Walgreens February coupon book (expires 2/27)
Total = $.04!!

Now, if you do not use this type of toothpaste, it is a great donation item for your local food pantry, women's shelter, etc.

New Walgreens In-Store Flyer

Go HERE to see a new 2-page Walgreens flyer that should be in stores now.

There is a $2 off any Burt's Bees skin care coupon. Pair this with the $.50 off lip product q from the 11/15RP or the $1 off non-lip product. I believe there were a few items on clearance last time I was in.

There is also a $1/1 for Crystal Body Deodorant. I believe this was good on the rock and liquid last time. Great price for an aluminum-free deodorant.

The internet is ablaze with the Huggies wipes deal with this flyer:
Use the $1/1 coupon in the flyer and pair with a MQ for $.50 from the 1/17SS (or the $.75/1 q printable-dead now)

Remember: All Walgreens coupons do not have to be cut out or left with the cashier. I always show them the coupon and then take it back to use again. I remember when I first started shopping at Walgreens. I tore up 4 ads one day for one little coupon in each. What a waste of paper! All they need is the code from the coupon. Plus, one coupon will automatically deduct off every qualifying item in your order. (even if fine print says limit 2 or some such)
