Update: Springfield, MO Kmart NOT Doubling

So, after being told TWICE by the Kmart corporate office that the Springfield, MO stores would be participating, I drove all the way to town--3 kids in tow--and was told, "No, we are not doubling coupons." At least I had not shopped yet. I have since talked to the corporate office twice. Got two nice little worthless apologies. Not sure what I expected. Maybe they could tell me when our stores would be participating. Maybe they could all get on the same page. I guess I better shake it off, write off my morning/gas wasted--and remember not to expect much from Kmart in the future.
